Diagnostic Team Lead

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Transformation Unit is recruiting a highly skilled Nurse Clinician - Urology to join their Diagnostic team at Churchill Hospital in Oxford.
This position presents a chance for a motivated nurse to lead high-quality patient care initiatives within a dynamic team, focusing on patients with suspected bladder and prostate cancer.
Main Job Duties:- Design and execute efficient diagnostic pathways for patients with suspected prostate cancer.
- Process referrals, facilitate telephone clinics, and work collaboratively with the Faster Diagnostic Clinical Navigator to enhance patient outcomes.
- Promote timely imaging requests, analyze MRI results, and make informed decisions regarding prostate biopsy.
- Liaise with patients following prostatectomy, guiding them through the transition to Patient-Led Follow-Up.
- A first-level degree in nursing or a related field.
- Student assessor and supervisor training.
- Substantial urology experience (Band 7).
- Evidenced commitment to professional growth.
- Registered Non-Medical Prescriber.
The estimated annual compensation for this position is £43,141 - £62,465, contingent on experience.
