About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our team in a purpose-built residential care facility providing short breaks and ongoing residential care for children with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with children with learning disabilities and be committed to creating a warm and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated care team, promoting a compassionate and inclusive environment for residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
  • Maintain effective communication with families, social services, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies are strictly upheld to provide a safe and positive environment for the children in our care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Manager qualification or equivalent management experience in residential care for children.
  • Proven experience working with children with learning disabilities.

Working with Us

Our Children's Home is designed to meet the diverse needs of disabled children aged 13-16, offering a comfortable and safe space in a five-bedroom bungalow with modern facilities, two bathrooms, and multiple communal spaces for living and play.

We aim to enrich each child's life with a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors in our enclosed garden, which includes accessible play equipment.
