TACT Children's Services Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned social work professional to take on the role of Children's Services Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This challenging yet rewarding position offers the opportunity to lead and develop our fostering services, contributing to the well-being and growth of looked-after children.

About You

  • You will be a qualified social worker with extensive experience in fostering, family placements, or related childcare settings.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, ability to guide and support teams towards achieving set goals.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, policy frameworks, and best practices in fostering and child care.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance foster family support, improve outcomes for looked-after children.
  • Building strong relationships with external partners, such as local authorities, schools, and health services, to promote collaborative working and service improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, auditing processes, and monitoring performance metrics.

  • Estimated annual salary: £44,322 (£32,822 + £11,500).
  • $1500 out-of-hours allowance p.a.
