About the Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in a full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small class of students with complex needs and make a real difference in their lives.

Job Description:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student. You will also employ strategies to support students with sensory impairments and severe learning difficulties, manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors effectively, and work closely with support staff and specialists to provide individualized educational support.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with children who have severe or profound learning difficulties. You will also have knowledge of Makaton, PECS, and other communication systems, as well as a patient, compassionate, and positive teaching approach.
