Social Work Opportunities in Yorkshire

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Supervising Social Worker - Maternity Cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to make a real difference in the lives of children and their foster families.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families, working with looked-after children and their carers to meet their complex needs. You will also be required to work with group members and deliver training on relevant topics.

This role offers a competitive annual salary of £32,822 plus an Out of Hours Allowance of £1,500 per annum. You will also have access to ongoing professional development and support from our experienced team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a post-qualifying experience in fostering/family placements or other childcare settings. You should also be up-to-date with relevant legislation, including the Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations.

In addition to your expertise, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently, and be comfortable using electronic records systems and IT.
