Marketplace Consultant Job Description

As a Marketplace Consultant at Amazon, you will play a key role in helping medium and large-sized businesses grow on our platform. Our team of consultants provides strategic advice with a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and provide strategic recommendations to maximize sellers' potential.
  • Implement and track metrics to measure the success and quality of sellers in your portfolio.
  • Identify and engage with prospective sellers for our Strategic Account Services program.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track account information and sales progress.
  • Manage projects around our Paid Services program, including process improvements, tool development, and sales analysis.

Requirements:

  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience in sales or account management, preferably in e-commerce or retail technology.
  • Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Passion for developing customer user experiences and translating customer needs into business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a complex, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work with CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to advocate on behalf of customers.
