Job Title: Amazon Marketplace Strategist

Join EngineeringUK as an Amazon Marketplace Strategist and play a key role in driving the growth of our medium and large-sized businesses on Amazon. As a member of our Strategic Account Services team, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement strategies that maximize their potential on the Amazon marketplace.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Amazon Marketplace Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer data, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and revenue. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to drive sales and revenue
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize listings, selection, supply chain, advertising, and deals
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your portfolio
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective clients for our Strategic Account Services
  • Understand and utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to track all pertinent account information and sales progress
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to clients
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace ecosystem
  • Manage additional projects around our newly launched Paid Service, including process improvements, tool and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
  • A passion for developing an engaging customer user experience and ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment, chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary
  • High attention to detail and the management of multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others
  • Experience using CRM tools, such as Salesforce
  • Creative, takes initiative, and can constructively advocate on behalf of the customer
