Pastoral Care Role Summary
The County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly skilled Clinical Spiritual Care Specialist to join their team. Based at the University Hospital of North Durham site, this position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients, carers, and staff.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and a deep understanding of pastoral care principles. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in hospital and community-based settings, as well as experience of community-based pastoral care.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide spiritual care to patients, carers, and staff on wards and in departments across the trust
• Work sensitively with patients, carers, and staff facing life-changing events
• Engage easily with people from diverse backgrounds

Estimated salary: £38,694 - £44,884 per annum.
