Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced educator to fill the role of Pastoral Care Specialist at a primary school in the L25 area. This newly created position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting young people in key areas of pastoral care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the school's pastoral care, addressing pupils' mental and physical needs to help remove barriers to learning. This will involve providing guidance and support to pupils, promoting their social, emotional, and personal development.

  • Deliver targeted interventions (both one-on-one and group sessions) to improve pupils' wellbeing.
  • Support the attendance team in improving pupil attendance.
  • Provide first aid and medical assistance as needed.

We are looking for someone with experience delivering wellbeing interventions and a passion for supporting young people's development and removing barriers to learning.

Key Information:
  • Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
  • Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Schedule: Term-time only, plus 5 INSET days
  • Salary: £20,000 - £28,000 per annum
