**To support us in our pursuit of excellence in everything we do, we are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Assistant to join our supportive team of staff.**

This role entails working with pastoral leaders and senior staff to assist with the provision of comprehensive pastoral support within the Academy. The post-holder will undertake a variety of duties, which will include, but not be limited to the following areas:

- Tracking student attendance
- Student home visits
- Undertaking welfare checks
- Providing safeguarding support
- Providing basic pastoral support

Previous experience of working within a professional capacity or within safeguarding is desirable.

This role entails working 195 days per year, comprised of term-time plus 5 Inset days.
