Mental Health Support Worker

This role involves providing community-based support to patients and their carers, promoting positive outcomes and networking with other agencies. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the treatment of patient's recovery at the key stages of their journey through mental health services.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a care setting and/or education/social care setting, with some knowledge of mental health. You will be self-reliant, able to work flexibly both individually and in a team, and have excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits including 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days with continuous service. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement specific areas of the care plan that have been planned and designed by senior clinicians in the service.
- Promote a therapeutic relationship with agreed boundaries and time scales.
- Provide regular support over a specified time-period targeted at the patients.
- Provide support with daily living and the normalisation of clients' lives.
