Support Worker for Children with Special Needs - Banbury

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker for Children with Special Needs in Banbury. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide support to students with moderate learning difficulties, autism, and communication challenges.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to create personalized education plans.
  • Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities and promote their independence.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs.
  • An understanding of child development theories and practices.
