About the Role

North Middlesex University Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Patient Journey Coordinator to support our General Surgery department. In this role, you will play a critical part in the smooth operation of our services, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with patients and their relatives regarding appointment and admission details, both verbally and in writing. This includes updating patient records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

A successful Patient Journey Coordinator must be organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in capacity and demand exercises to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that patient pathways are optimized to meet 18-week targets. This may involve collaborating with healthcare professionals, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
