About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our reception team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive excellent care and support throughout their journey with us.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and facilitate patient flow, ensuring seamless transitions between departments
  • To communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, addressing queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
  • To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • To contribute to the continuous improvement of patient services, identifying areas for development and suggesting solutions

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background, including qualifications in English and Maths
  • Demonstrable experience in a patient-facing role, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
