We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely information regarding their appointments and treatments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Answer external and internal patient enquiries promptly and effectively via phone and other media methods.
  • Provide a flexible service to all patients with emphasis on patient satisfaction, tailoring conversations to meet individual needs.
  • Assist patients in booking and amending community blood tests and hospital appointments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with the departmental team to manage workload and provide a comprehensive clerical service.
  • Adhere to departmental SOP's, performance KPI's, accuracy targets, and regulatory requirements, including data protection and customer security.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different communication channels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Experience working in a similar environment, preferably within the NHS or patient care services.
