Patient Transport Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients across our network of hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain effective relationships with hospital staff, patients, and their families to ensure seamless transportation services.
- Collaborate with operational managers to forecast and manage patient flow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize transportation services.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Work closely with bed managers and EMED managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient transportation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient transportation services.
- Proven experience in a healthcare or transportation setting, with a strong understanding of patient flow and transportation logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, hospital staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Valid full (manual) UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points and physical fitness for patient moving and handling.
- A competitive annual salary of £24,258.
- A permanent, full-time contract with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
