Job Description

This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn about document management systems and practices within a manufacturing environment. As a Trainee Document Controller, you will support in managing the documentation process by assisting in the organisation, maintenance, and distribution of project-related documentation while adhering to industry standards and company procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Produce Master Document Registers (Internal and Client).
  2. Assist in the creation, revision and maintenance of project documentation.
  3. Learn to use the document management software and systems for tracking document revisions and approvals.
  4. Help manage the document control system, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and in compliance with company policies.
  5. Ensure Client/Project documentation requirements are implemented and understood.
  6. Participate in the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely communication of updates.
  7. Support the filing and archiving of documents in both electronic and physical formats, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  8. Support with regular Project audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  9. Provide support with various administrative tasks as and when required.
