HR Support Specialist

AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security, and we are seeking an HR Associate to work on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will provide efficient and effective HR services, working on a hybrid basis with 2/3 days per week at our Aldermaston Office site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, timely, and accurate transactional HR services within SLA requirements.
- Provide efficient and effective HR support to customers, offering first-point-of-contact services through HRIS, telephone, email, and walk-ins.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and be a great team player.
Requirements:
- Maintain workload and case trackers to enable the reporting of service performance and identification of improvements.
- Ensure the HR Information System is accurately updated, and transactions are processed in a timely fashion.
- Support line managers, employees, and candidates in the effective use of self-service HR technologies.
- Assist in the testing and maintenance of the HRIS.
- Ensure HR-related documentation (hard copy and electronic) is appropriately handled, managed, and retained in compliance with data privacy regulations, including the archiving process.
Salary and Benefits:£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
