Strategic Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a talented Strategic Sales Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in the UK. As a dynamic laboratory solutions provider, we offer a range of products including consumables, plastics, and containers. In this critical role, you will develop and implement a strategic sales plan, focus on business development, and build long-term relationships with clients to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive National Sales Growth: Increase sales across the UK by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Build a Robust Sales Pipeline: Proactively research and target key market segments, building a sustainable pipeline of potential clients.
- Grow New Business: Focus on acquiring new clients while developing relationships with existing accounts to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and progress in CRM systems to inform strategy and reporting.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with marketing and technical teams to design impactful campaigns, address customer needs, and refine product offerings.
- Represent the Company: Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.
- Financial Management: Manage and report on regional sales budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
