About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Clinical Pathway Administrator to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical pathways for patients with nephrology and renal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all administrative processes for each patient's pathway to ensure smooth management and timely completion.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient demographics and contact information are maintained on Cerner.
  • Utilize computerized tracking systems to access patient records and provide instructions, reminders, and information to patients as needed.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with staff.
  • Provide patient navigation services for satellite and off-site locations as required.
  • Process confidential patient-sensitive documentation to and from patients, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Deal with concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management as necessary.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust's Values.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Secretarial experience and previous experience working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and customer care practice.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and ability to work without direct supervision.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Courses or further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development.
  • Knowledge of Cerner/EPR and National and Trust pathway targets.
  • Ability to confidently interact and share knowledge with staff at all levels.
  • Proof of continuous learning and development.
