Rotherwood Education is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PE Teacher to join their dynamic team at a well-established school in Blackburn.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students and contribute to the school's mission to provide a breadth of opportunities and experiences for students to develop confidence and life ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
  • Support extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

  • Valid teaching qualification
  • Experience in a similar position and teaching up to Key Stage 4
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passion for the subject, teaching, and pupil development
  • Current DBS check or willingness to apply for one
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and young people

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
