**Application Specialist**

National Care Group is a leading provider of care and support services for Adults throughout England and Wales.

We work closely with the people we support, their family members, local authorities and commissioners to provide high-quality, person-centred support across the following services: supported living, residential care, outreach & home support, day services and an education college.

We are recruiting for an Application Specialist to join our team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct the ongoing development and support of NCG enterprise platforms.
- Develop new Software Specifications and system process flows.
- Conduct business analysis of IT requirements including technical design and detailed specifications.
- Create Statements of Requirements for new platform implementations or integrations.
- Manage integrations of the platforms with other services including API’s.
- Ensure all new platform services are accepted into live service.
- Estimate team level timelines and technical efforts for planning purposes in conjunction with Technical Project Manager.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Manage NCG platform change management and other ITIL or ITSM processes and procedures.
- Product training and demonstrations (some travel required to customer sites).
- Provide troubleshooting, coaching and work with product trainers for colleagues on key products to ensure continued delivery.
- Handle time-sensitive audit requests and see them to completion.
- Manage deliverables by working with supplier and internal resources within budget, maintenance, and quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional software issues.
