About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team at a Primary School in East Lancashire. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with EBD and ADHD, providing one-to-one support and helping them access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to a child with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop strategies to engage the child and promote their emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and track progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Contribute to break-time and lunchtime supervision, ensuring the child's safety and inclusion.

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with EBD, ADHD, or other special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS check.
