About the Role
Liverpool John Moores University is a distinctive institution with a global presence, rooted in the Liverpool City Region. We are seeking a talented Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our team and provide strategic support and expertise to the University community and other stakeholders in delivering our Diversity and Inclusion ambitions and driving culture change.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the University's application for external Charter Marks accreditations, such as the Advance HE Race Equality Silver Award and Athena Swan (Gender Equality) Awards.
- Collaborate with Faculties and Professional Services Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion to develop and implement action plans, fostering a culture that values diversity and social inclusion.
- Develop and implement Diversity and Inclusion strategies, projects, policies, and workshops, along with a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, including employment and equality legislation.
- Effectively develop Diversity and Inclusion priorities and implement an associated action plan that fosters a culture of inclusivity.
