About the Role:

We are seeking an Inclusion Specialist to join our team at Liverpool John Moores University. The successful candidate will work on the University's Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, focusing on enhancing our DWP Disability Confident Level 3 application and other charter marks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver bespoke training and workshop materials on topics such as reasonable adjustments, adjustment planner and passport, racial literacy, and intercultural competence.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to staff and students and undertake key University-wide D&I projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the delivery of our inclusivity agenda.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on DI initiatives, facilitating DI workshops and development offerings.
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of Microsoft literacy in all packages, including web design.
  • Experience with awareness-raising activities and facilitating workshops and events to drive the delivery of our inclusivity agenda.
