About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Coordinator to join our team at B&Q. As a Department Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the store management team to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a high level of store appearance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store objectives, share best practices, and provide support as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail or operations management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
