Abbots Care is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and check customer invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to invoice queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide the accounting team with relevant information
- Collect monthly direct debits and process payments to suppliers
- Prepare and enter journals into the system
- Perform credit control tasks
- Assist with basic administration tasks, such as correspondence, filing, and printing
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an accounting team in an office environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to interact with customers, suppliers, and employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure smooth processes
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks (training provided)
