Position Overview

BettingJobs is collaborating with a prominent organization in the Sports Betting sector that is in search of a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to enhance their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in examining Safer Gambling notifications and supporting the effective operation of the compliance department.

The ideal candidate for the Regulatory Compliance Coordinator position will possess exceptional attention to detail and have a background in customer engagement within the iGaming field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and address Safer Gambling notifications, which includes reviewing client accounts and, when necessary, following up with clients or escalating issues to the Sports Compliance Manager.
  • Conduct daily compliance oversight, managing both internal and external inquiries.
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels when there are signs of gambling-related issues.
  • Perform affordability evaluations to assess whether a client's deposits are manageable, requesting additional information as needed.
  • Execute and evaluate Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, including enhanced due diligence and document verification processes.
  • Support the Head of Compliance with ongoing initiatives to ensure the compliance function operates smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated attention to detail along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in customer interactions through various platforms.
  • Exhibit sensitivity, professionalism, and resilience during client communications.
  • Proven organizational capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to foster relationships across different teams.
  • Experience in a compliance capacity, with a solid understanding of sports betting products, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and Safer Gambling practices being beneficial.
  • Preferably, prior experience in conducting KYC, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence assessments.
