The Marketing & Business Development Manager will drive business development, enhance the firm's profile, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities through strategic marketing. Key duties include developing pitches, managing sponsorships, conducting market research, and executing marketing activities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Michael Page Marketing as a Marketing & Business Development Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and execute business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic marketing and relationship-building.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Marketing
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the firm's profile and reputation.
    • Manage sponsorships, client presentations, seminars, and webinars to drive business development.
    • Conduct market research and client analysis to identify trends and new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Client Intelligence to support cross-selling efforts.
    • Update business development systems with attorney experience and client information.
  • Marketing Materials
    • Draft and edit marketing materials, such as practice area descriptions and attorney bios.
    • Manage updates to the firm's website and intranet.
  • Awards and Recognition
    • Oversee submissions for awards and legal directories.
    • Maintain records of accolades and pursue PR opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Marketing and Business Development Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
    • Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to influence and collaborate across a large organisation.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Quick to learn new database systems.
