About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Territory Sales Executive to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a Territory Sales Executive, you will be responsible for achieving the company's revenue targets for new business in line with our strategy for customer size, type, and service mix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop a 'personal prospect funnel' sufficient in size to fund both DPD and DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the company's strategic plan.
  • Monitor performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur.
  • Successfully handover all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade.
  • Identify and pursue regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Champion the 'partnership process' wherever possible with any new prospects.
  • Achieve productivity targets, including 12 brand new prospect visits each week.
  • Achieve all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company.
  • Obtain all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to ISO standard.

About You

We are looking for a career-driven individual with a proven track record of success in sales or a similar environment. You will have a tenacious attitude and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.

You will possess outstanding communication, persuading, and influencing skills, which will be fully utilised in this role. Your ability to focus on your customers to fully understand their needs and gain their commitment will be essential.

We also expect you to have high levels of integrity and empathy, the ability to manage your own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines, and the ability to adapt your style to suit the needs of internal and external customers.

Additionally, you will need to have effective problem resolution and objection handling skills, be able to work under pressure, and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and resilient approach.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
