Maternity Cover HR Coordinator Job Opportunity

Sure Start Staff is seeking a reliable and experienced HR professional to cover maternity leave as an HR Coordinator until July 2025.

This role involves working 36.25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with part-time hours also available, and is based in Rochdale. The salary for this position is £20-£25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).

Key Duties:
  • Support HR responsibilities and tasks across various school sites within an 8-mile radius.
  • Deliver administrative services, including formal correspondence to employees relating to terms and conditions of employment and policies/procedures.
  • Complete Trust HR Recruitment duties, ensuring compliance with KCSIE guidelines.
  • Work closely with school-based HR staff and recruiting managers to implement Safer Recruitment practices.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 HR/CIPD Qualification or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS Certification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy, GCSE Grade C in Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of HR Processes and Employment Processes, including pre-employment checks.
