About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Development Consultant to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Organizational Development (OD) team, you will play a critical role in driving cultural and behavioral changes that support performance improvement and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and enable the development of new methodologies and interventions to improve quality and operational performance.
  • Design and facilitate the implementation of change management programs to support cultural and organizational change.
  • Manage the design and implementation of OD interventions, including team and leadership development, workshops, action learning, seminars, and master classes.
  • Lead on the design, implementation, and oversight of the trust-wide talent management and succession planning program of work.
  • Manage and oversee the annual staff survey and quarterly staff friends and family test, developing engagement plans to promote the surveys and leading on the analysis and development of reports.
  • Develop and implement staff recognition events, initiatives, and activities to improve and maintain staff engagement.
  • Accountable for the effective planning and monitoring of funds assigned to OD initiatives.
  • Responsible for procurement, contract management, and quality assurance of commissioned OD services.
  • Manage the OD team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality OD interventions and excellent customer care.

  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management, and performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform organizational decisions.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex organizational systems.
