SEN Support Worker

We are looking for a highly skilled SEN Support Worker to join our team at Smile Education.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, developing strategies to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

About the Role:
  • Location: Wednesbury
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Hours: Full-time position
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • To provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs.
    • To work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to develop tailored learning plans.
    • To maintain accurate records of student progress and identify areas for improvement.
About You:
  • Qualifications:
    • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education is required.
  • Experience:
    • UK-based experience within an education setting is essential.
    • Proven ability to support students with SEND, including managing challenging behaviour.
  • Compliance:
    • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one is necessary.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated salary: £19,500 - £23,500 per annum (dependent on experience).
