The Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our school community and lead our SEND provision.

As SENCO, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pupils receive the support and resources they need to succeed, and that our school remains a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key Requirements

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) and ideally hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or a commitment to complete it).
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children with SEND.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
The Salary Package

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
