ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead the school's provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, and families to ensure that all pupils receive the support and resources they need to succeed.

The Role:
  • Manage the school's SEND provision, ensuring that all pupils receive appropriate, high-quality support.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualised education plans (EHCPs) for students with SEND.
  • Provide staff training and guidance on SEND best practices to support whole-school inclusion.

Requirements:
  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) and ideally hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or a commitment to complete it).
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children with SEND.

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. ABC Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
