The Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team and lead our SEND provision in a primary school in the Walsall area.

As SENCO, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring individualised education plans (EHCPs) for students with SEND, and providing staff training and guidance on SEND best practices to support whole-school inclusion.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) and ideally hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or a commitment to complete it).
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged children with SEND.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
The Salary and Benefits Package

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
