Resource Base Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated Resource Base Teaching Assistant to join our team at Smile Education.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
About the Role:- Location: Wednesbury
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Full-time position
- Responsibilities:
- To provide support to students within the school's resource base.
- To work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to the development of the resource base.
- Qualifications:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education is required.
- Experience:
- UK-based experience within an education setting is essential.
- Proven ability to support students with SEND, including managing challenging behaviour.
- Compliance:
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one is necessary.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Estimated salary: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
