Smile Education is committed to providing high-quality educational support to children with special needs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local primary school in Wednesbury, WS10.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities. They will work closely with the class teacher to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing IEPs and support strategies
  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring all students have equal access to learning opportunities and resources

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting
  • A valid DBS registration or willingness to obtain one
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
