Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our dynamic Projects delivery team at Mitie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Project and Assistant Project Managers, delivering multiple projects for our clients.

As a Senior Project Manager at Mitie, you will be expected to lead your team and projects with ownership, ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and adherence to financial and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure projects are financially viable and cost-effective.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Oversee project compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, handling all administrative aspects with precision.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive teams towards excellence.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
