Senior Business Development Manager Wanted

Thales is looking for a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to join our Integrated Airspace-protection Systems (IAS) UK team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new business opportunities and partnerships, as well as driving business performance through the optimisation of sales, production, and inventory management processes.

About the Role

The role requires a high level of expertise in sales, production, and inventory management processes, as well as experience in working cross-functionally with senior leadership to establish and implement long-term forecasting, planning, and resource allocation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Driving business performance through the optimisation of sales, production, and inventory management processes.
  • Working cross-functionally with senior leadership to establish and implement long-term forecasting, planning, and resource allocation strategies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A proven track record of managing complex S&OP processes in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment.
  • Experience in the defence or aerospace industry is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the S&OP process, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Expertise in the use of ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

Our competitive salary package includes:

  • A salary of approximately £80,000 per annum.
