About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join St John Ambulance's team as a Sessional Youth Support Worker. We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver sessions to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering 1.5-2 hour sessions, providing development to young people's citizenship and focusing on a desire to work or volunteer in an NHS role in the future. You will work closely with a Project Lead and other Youth Support Workers to plan and deliver appropriate content and adapt the delivery to the individual needs of the young people on your programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sessions to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme
  • Work closely with a Project Lead and other Youth Support Workers to plan and deliver content
  • Adapt delivery to meet the individual needs of young people

About You:

We are looking for someone with experience of delivering formal or informal training or activities to young people, motivating young people who have low or unrealised aspirations, and high levels of IT literacy. You should also have a good knowledge of MS Office and remote working tools.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
