We seek a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team and support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

This specialist provision is looking for a mentor to help manage challenging behaviours from students, as well as support them with working through their social and emotional difficulties and mental health difficulties.

The ideal candidate will be able to take a therapeutic approach and have a strong willingness to work with and make a difference to the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with SEMH difficulties.
  • Working alongside the Class Teacher and Supporting staff.
Requirements:

Experience in teaching, childcare, youth work, or mental health is essential.

Ability to manage challenging behaviour and take a therapeutic approach is necessary.
