Job Title: West London Sickle Cell Network Patient Engagement and MDT Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Engagement and MDT Coordinator for the West London Sickle Cell Network. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and families affected by sickle cell disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and facilitate communications for the patient and public voice group of the network.
  • Support the multi-disciplinary team meeting of the Sickle Cell network, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate database of key Haemoglobinopathy metrics for the West London HCC.
  • Support the network in making data returns related to the West London's HCC service specification, including audits and external reporting.
  • Lead on the return of data to NHS England and other external agencies, ensuring compliance with national policy and standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of the Network's performance against the Haemoglobinopathy Quality Dashboard.
  • Manage the safe transfer of data within the Trust's Information Governance policy standards and between Trusts within the network.
  • Create new databases or queries as additional parameters for storage and retrieval of information are identified.
Requirements:
  • Existing experience of patient engagement and a track record in delivering patient/public engagement events.
  • Ability to problem solve, work with individuals and teams at all levels, and demonstrate a broad understanding of patient engagement issues.
  • Understanding of action plan development and/or implementation, with the ability to develop good local links with patient groups within the network.
  • Collaborative links with other centres within the network, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
