Position Overview

This role involves supporting the cancer multidisciplinary team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring that cancer patients are effectively monitored throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

The MDT Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the organization of weekly multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Ensuring that cancer patients are actively tracked through their care pathways, in compliance with national cancer standards.
  • Collaborating closely with team leaders and operational managers to facilitate efficient information exchange.
  • Inputting data into patient record systems and databases, requiring strong data entry skills.
  • Providing support to the Team Leader during periods of absence within the MDT.

We are looking for an individual who is:

  • A proactive and enthusiastic administrator with experience in a team environment.
  • Capable of effective communication with all members of a busy clinical team.
  • Able to manage the demands of a dynamic and challenging role.
