We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology MDT Coordinator to join our Clinical Imaging team at the West Middlesex University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing target cancer pathway Radiology referrals, providing comprehensive MDT coordination and pathway management, and analyzing data to ensure timely and equitable access for patients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in handling sensitive information, using Microsoft Office, and communicating effectively with staff at all levels. They will also be able to work under pressure, meet regular deadlines, and demonstrate organization and administrative skills.
As a Radiology MDT Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Actively tracking all Target requests referred to the Radiology department, ensuring all Target orders are vetted, booked, and reported in the required timeframes.
- Working in a team environment to provide support and advice to other clerical staff as necessary.
- Phone patients to make appointments, provide instructions, reminders, and information where necessary.
- Monitoring pending referrals vs capacity, liaising closely with the Administrative team to ensure clinics are booked optimally and the service runs smoothly.
