Residential Youth Care Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking permanent Support Workers to join North Lakes who have a warm and approachable manner and can make a significant impact on a young person's life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily routines, personal hygiene, meals, and activities
- Develop life skills, promote socialisation and bed-time routines
- Attend medical appointments
- Support activity plans and complete day sheets
- Complete daily paperwork, room checks, and housecleaning tasks
- Shop, prepare meals, and maintain kitchen hygiene
- Complete specific checks, such as COSHH, Fire Checks and Car checks
- Liaise with families, build relationships and plan family time
Salary: £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. A sleep-in allowance is also provided.
Requirements:
- Flexibility and an understanding of young people's issues
- A Residential Childcare qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to learn and work well in a team
