Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support and care to young people in our residential settings, including assistance with personal hygiene, meals, and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the well-being of all residents.
  • Support the development of life skills, independence, and self-confidence among our young people.
  • Participate in medical appointments, outings, and other activities designed to promote their physical and emotional health.
  • Complete accurate records, reports, and paperwork to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery.

Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and families.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-in nights, and participate in on-call duties as required.
  • A DBS check at enhanced level and a full UK driving licence.
