Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Statement of Purpose reflects the needs of young people and outlines staff qualifications and experience.
  • Develop effective communication strategies and systems to support staff duties.
  • Manage quality direct services to young people, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Identify staff training needs and ensure they are met.
  • Maintain Health and Safety Regulations compliance with company policies.
  • Regularly inspect building condition and equipment to ensure good working order.
  • Manage finance budgets, administration, and records in line with company expectations.
  • Promote Equality and Diversity policies and Child Protection Procedures.
  • Set, monitor, and evaluate standards at individual, team, and service quality levels.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of issues facing young people in care.
  • Hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work well in a small team.
  • DBS check at enhanced level required.
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work advantageous.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
