Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people in residential care, promoting personal growth and development. As a Youth Residential Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting daily routines, including getting the boys up, promoting personal hygiene, meals, and activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily routines and promote personal growth
  • Develop life skills and promote socialization
  • Attend medical and other appointments
  • Support activity planners and completion of day sheets
Requirements:
  • Flexibility in availability, with sleep-in nights and shift work
  • Understanding of issues facing young people in care
  • Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
Benefits:
  • Sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night
  • Up to 6 weeks' holiday per year
  • Rota pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times
