Therapeutic Residential Care Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. Our company is a well-established local provider of therapeutic residential care and education for boys aged 6-18.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals in a therapeutic residential setting.
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote resilience, self-esteem, and abilities in young people.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Manage and maintain a 4-bedroom home in Carlisle, adhering to high standards of safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have experience working with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work or Youth Work.
  • Be willing to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position.
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed.
